PROLOGUE
“They used to say that
he was an immovable object, incorruptible, and when anyone saw him, they were
frozen by the terror of their guilt.” said the old man.
“Was he? You
knew him. Was he?” asked the little boy.
The old man
got of his chair, looked out the window, looked at Wayne Tower and said, “Well…
he was scary.”
“Grandpa?
Can you tell me the Penguin story again?” the little boy asked.
“I’ve told
you that story almost 10 times now Richard.” the old man answered.
“Please?”
said the excited child.
The old man
looked at the child’s face and said “Alright. But after this one, we’re going
to focus on other stories for a while. Ok?”
“OK!” the
boy said smiling.
